By installing or using PDF Maker Pro you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.

The app

PDF Maker Pro is an Android application that reads, creates and edits PDF and Office documents on your device. It is provided free of charge. There is no account, no subscription and no purchase.

Your documents are yours

We claim no ownership of, and no rights over, anything you open or create with the app. We never receive your documents: everything the app does happens on your phone. What you do with the files you produce is entirely your business.

How you may use the app

You may use the app for anything lawful. You may not use it to:

• infringe someone else's copyright or other rights;
• remove a password or other protection from a document you have no right to open. The app can remove a password only from a document you can already open, and only you know whether you are entitled to do so;
• break any law that applies to you.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Document processing carries real risk. Software can produce a damaged file, a device can run out of storage part-way through, and a phone can be interrupted at the wrong moment. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app writes results as new files rather than overwriting your originals, but that is not a substitute for a backup.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage arising from your use of the app - including damage to, or loss of, any document you process with it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-party components

The app uses open-source components, each under its own licence, and two features provided by Google Play services (the document scanner and its supporting services). Your use of Google Play services is governed by Google's own terms.

Changes to the app and these terms

The app may change in future versions: features may be added, altered or removed. These terms may change with them, and the date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Ending these terms

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which removes the app's copy of your library and its documents from your phone.
